The International Institute for Innovation Society was founded in 2010. In 2017, the current name was in use. Its Finnish name, Kansainvälinen Innovaatioyhteiskunta Instituutti ry (KIIRY) was formally registered. It means International Institute for Innovation Society (IIIS) in English, 国际创新社会研究院 (三樱智库) in Chinese, and 国際イノベーション・ソサエティ研究所 in Japanese. It is a multidisciplinary academic association devoted to promote transnational mobility of intellectuals all over the world. KIIRY’s mission is to act as a hub where academics and researchers from all over the world can connect and exchange ideas on their research, and discuss the future developments in their disciplines.
